Answer: Surat al-Falaq and its Interpretation

In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful

{Say, “I seek refuge with the Lord of the daybreak, from the harm of all what He has created; from the harm of night’s darkness when it spreads around, from the harm of the sorceresses who blow on knots, and from the harm of the envier when he envies.} [Surat al-Falaq: 1-5]

2. {مِن شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ} : From the evil of the harmful creatures.

3. {وَمِن شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ إِذَا وَقَبَ} : And I seek refuge with Allah from the evils of what appear at night like animals and thieves.

4. {وَمِن شَرِّ ٱلنَّفَّٰثَٰتِ فِي ٱلۡعُقَدِ} : And I seek refuge with Allah from the evil of the sorceresses who blow on knots.

5. {وَمِن شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ إِذَا حَسَدَ} : And from the evil of the one who hates and envies people for the blessings that Allah bestowed on them, as he wishes that they would no longer enjoy such blessings and wishes that harm be inflicted on them.
